About Steven

I am a professional freelance writer who creates articles about normal things, focusing especially on all things automotive, as well as science, health, marketing and business planning strategies. I also write fiction with a good portion of my stories revolving around the paranormal in one way or another. I have published several books, all of which have paranormal themes, and I am working on several more projects.

I grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico and I still complain about it being hard to get decent green chile around here. From an early age I displayed a knack for telling engaging and imaginative stories. After high school I lived in Arizona while I went to college for about a year before living abroad in Central America for a few years. After returning to the United States I finished my undergraduate studies and earned a bachelor's in English.

I enjoy a wide variety of books--both fiction and non-fiction. I am a pretty big Shakespeare fan (who isn't?) and also have a love for Joseph Conrad, Edgar Allen Poe, J.R.R. Tolkien, the Bronte Sisters, Lewis Carrol and many living authors. I also read a fair amount of books on the paranormal, automotive topics, folklore, marketing, criminology (a guilty indulgence of mine) and philosophy.

When I am not writing or reading I enjoy many of the outdoor activities in the beautiful state of Utah, which has amazing mountains and wilderness areas to play in. I also enjoy doing artwork, traveling and spending time with my family.
